I was in Orlando for a couple days for a convention and took a ride to the east coast to at least wet a line. Why travel that far to a place with many fish only to traipse around a convention hall? My wife fished with me and was the snook queen. I think the last fish she caught was probably a tarpon in Costa Rica.

Had some luck with jack cravalle and snook. I hooked and lost a goliath grouper - pretty tough on 20 pound line. The GGs we saw swimming around under the boat were 150-200 pounders. Speaking of tarpon, saw a guy on the breakwater jump a 75 pounder about 6 times. Considering the wall is about 15 feet above the water, no chance for him to actually land it. Fun times and now back to Lake Michigan.
