Fished 6 days last week (Sunday thru Friday), we limited on walleyes every day. Fished 2 miles east of Hen Island, trolling spinners at 1.8 mph near bottom. Tried perch between Rattlesnake and Green Islands, caught 6. A friend fished over the weekend on a charter, they fished D can and took a limit of perch and took limits of walleyes 1 mile north of West Sister trolling Michigan Stingers on Jet Divers and Dipseys

I was fishing out of Marblehead on Saturday and saw no signs of mayflies. I was there about a month ago and that was a different story all together. Millions of them then. I didn't pull a limit of walleyes Saturday, but I did have a great day fishing just west of Kelleys Island. I was told to go east of the island, and for whatever reason I didn't. I started marking a ton of fish to the west, and I didn't want to leave fish to find fish. So I hung out over there. I should've gone east. Everybody I talked to who went east could barely keep lines in the water.

Nice job, its all about the trip, not always limits but good times.
Were they nicer fish? We got mostly 17 - 18 inch which are good eaters, but only a few bigger fish.
We went out of Huron for the first time and loved it.
Thanks for the info, going to try another trip in august.
