Late report but I took a day trip over to Lake Erie to see if I could bring back some tasty walleye. We fished around the Port Clinton area northeast of Isle St George in about 35 fow. Water temps 78 at surface and 74 at 25 fow. We trolled using planer boards (small size) and downriggers. Bandit stick baits were hot and lime green / white was the hot bait of the day. We also took fish on small green spoons and a variety of other stick baits. 15-20 fow seemed to be the best depth for running the lures. 2.0-2.2 surface speed seemed to work the best but we caught fish slower and faster. 4 man limit was taken in about 6 hrs of fishing. The last hour was spent searching for last fish only to find out we were probably dragging them around for a long time as we had 4 fish on when we cleared the lines at the end of the day and didn't know it. Definitely worth a trip over if you love walleye!
