Two more days of good weather.  Slow pick today. Caught most of the fish on dipseys and downriggers which is weird - ustually about 90% planer boards.  No gaspergoos. A couple of white perch and one white bass. I'm going to fish west of the islands tomorrow. Been east the last two days. Already missing the fun of catching salmon and trout.

Good luck! Thanks for the report! I've been following a couple different groups on lake Erie and a lot of the people who have been fishing and been using crawler harnesses

The last couple of years the fishing was as good as anyone would want east of the Bass Islands on our late May/early June trips. So that's where we concentrated the first afternoon and first morning trip. Not so hot this year, but we did scratch out a decent trip on Monday.
So we went west yesterday - like we used to do.  Much better fishing. Fished east of the D Can (check your charts) a couple miles and had steady action on a healthy grade of fish. Out in time to take our brides to Hooligan's Pub for lunch back at Put in Bay.
Star of the show was chrome Mag Lips 3.5s but plenty of fish on Bandits, Flicker Minnows and Shad Raps on the planers; and Rattlin Rogue stickbaits on riggers and dipseys.  Big fish for the day was a 10 pound gaspergoo on a Nascar flavored spoon (I think it was a Silver Streak.)  Fluorescent colors early switching to metallic golds and silver patterns by mid-morning.
I am missing all the fun back at the south end but ya can't be everywhere all the time.
Looks like one more good morning until the evil north winds start to blow.

Glad you had some decent weather while you are there. We ended up cancelling our trip. Evil ENE winds through out the trip is forecasted. Gonna chase bluegills and crappies instead now.
