While sanding my boats floor today I received a call from a friend asking if I wanted to give Webster Lake a try for Musky this afternoon. We picked up some huge suckers and hit the lake. We were casting swim baits and hanging the suckers over the side of the boat. These suckers were huge and I really thought they were overkill. Within 15 minutes my sucker rod starts pulling and i could see the Musky with the sucker in its mouth. Landed a 40" 18 lb Musky shortly after. We worked a couple of hours in the same area with no others so we moved. It was close to dark so I switched to a 1 oz yellow diamond Daredevil spoon. On the second cast with that spoon I hooked and landed a 38" Musky. 10 casts later I had one follow right to the boat until it hit and I pulled the lure too quickly and it got away. Needless to say it was an awesome afternoon on the water!

Is there a way to keep my posted photos from being sideways or upside down?

I will try and explain the challenge of images in a simple and concise way. Cell phones tag the image orientation in a different way than the world wide web (internet). The cell phone method allows you to rotate your phone, and see the image still in the correct orientation. Generally with most phones, there are two possible ways usually to take a correct picture (how you hold your phone - in landscape or portrait) for it to show up correctly on the web. You will have to test it out with your phone and see what works right.

The other way, is to get the picture on to your computer, open with some simple image software, and save it with the correct orientation. Even if the image opens up properly in the correct orientation, you will have to save it before uploading. Various windows software packages can determine the correct orientation from the cell phone image data. Once it is saved on the computer, the correct orientation data is saved into the file that HTML browsers can interpret.

Someone once asked me, well then why does it always work correctly on facebook?? That is because facebook is doing some conversions behind the scenes between cell phone orientation, and what HTML recognizes. Creators of forum / bulletin board packages never got that far apparently.

To make a long story short, either experiment and see exactly how to take the pictures on your cell to upload them in the correct orientation, or upload them to the computer and save in the correct orientation. I find dealing with the cell phones to be maddening at times so I always just put everything on the computer first (well most of the time anyway). This problem is common on pretty much any internet bulletin board / forum. I wish there was a simple solution to the problem.

Also just an FYI - once you add a file in attachments, you can click the insert button to actually insert the picture into the post instead of be just an attachment.

Nice Muskies BTW! Throwing those big baits can be very exhausting!!!!

Welcome to the board Snipe! Thanks for putting me on some Muskie and introducing me to another expensive and addictive aspect of fishing. I'm ready to duplicate or better that day anytime.
