Late report- I haven't been on the website much this last half of the year due to a massive project at work......I did get away to lake Erie the week of Thanksgiving for the Fall Brawl/Walleye slam so I'll put up the report in case anyone wants to reference it for future trips.
I do hope to be more active on the site and on the lake in 2026...... work load dependant.


So another Brawlin-Slammin trip is in the books. No giants this year but I did get quality fish.
I fished Sat the 22nd to Tuesday the 25th.....Saturday I came up late afternoon and could only get 2 hours on the lake but me and my brother did boat a fairly quick 7. Sunday the wind was howling 17mph out of the west, that was steady 3's with some 4 and 5's thrown in....we picked up 10 before we called it. Monday was gorgeous and it was an easy under 2 hour limit..... we fun fished for awhile stopping north of 20....Tuesday was raining so we boated another 2 hour limit and decided to head in for breakfast.
Since I was given Intel I will honor the request of not giving up the location.....I will say we trolled about 1.5 and ran leads high- about 45 -50 back. We ran Bandits and Carrot Top was the hot color, taking over 50% of our fish. Blue Chrome, Wild Thing, Fruit Dot, Khaki and Gender Reveal all took multiples too.
All in all a great trip, I find this place to be heaven on Earth - I can't wait to call it home( 5 more years). April can't get here quick enough..... I'm already Jonesing for that jig bite!!!!
