I retired last Friday and I have started to hunt deer again now that the weather is better and the pre-rut is in full swing. I have seen 6 bucks on 3 hunts but no skin heads were seen. I passed on a nice 8 point and I was rewarded with a good 10 that is a bull. A 35 yd shot let the air out of him and he went about 100 after the shot. It was a chore getting him out. It is getting tougher getting the deer out of the woods for this now "old" man. Here is some pix.

Deer sticks and deer baloney, I am on it. The baloney is to die for, really good stuff. We will have some great snacks for next season for sure.

Congrats, hope to follow you on the retirement next year or the summer after.
Nice job on the deer, I bought a deer cart years ago, now I just come in and get the tractor.
Its tuff dragging them big ones when getting older.
Sweet deer, my last 8 pointer I did a European mount on it and gave it to the grandson, saves alot of money too.
