I was able to get my son and grandson out this afternoon. We had a great shoot, 3 man limit of 45 birds and a great day spent together. Rudey

Well done Rudey and crew.! Gotta ask though, how many boxes per limit? My average was almost a box when we had birds down south. But I had a magical day 5 or 6 years ago when 18 shells took my 15. We had some birds to hunt back then too.

Well DON , to tell you the truth I don’ think our average was to bad. We went through almost 6 boxes of shells . That put us at about 1 bird every 3 shots takin. My grandson who is 13 years old got in a few more shots then his Uncle or I did , but that was the fun part keeping him on his toes. Rudey

I will rat myself out a little here but, there was a trip where I could not hit anything and could not figure what was going on and it took me 3 full boxes to get the limit. It was embarrassing as hell. I remember a trip that lasted forever because I could not find the birds after they fell into the tall weeds and grass. Started using a dog after that fiasco.
