Good year in the number of wild birds. Pheasant Forever forecast was spot on. Four of us hunted in Illinois Friday saw about 40 birds (50% hens). Got 6 loss 2 cripples. The 6 month old pup ran 1 rooster down and dropped it when another bird flushed.
