Well the forecast for the weekend looks good enough for me to hit the woods . It will be the first time this season for me to sit. My son & I have made 7 trips to the farm this year without weapons. (checking stands & clearing paths) But this weekend things get real. I hope others will also be out enjoying these fall days. The temps are looking great for my style of hunting. Although there's not a lot on the cameras but they don't always see what you can see from a well placed stand. So good luck to all this weekend. May your shots be true.

So our first trip to the woods to hunt wasn't a success as far as actual recovery. But we did pick our number 1 target and get a really cool pictures. I'll be heading back in a couple days hopefully with better action. We did see a number of deer but nothing we wanted just yet.
