TOPIC:

Went to try are luck for some walleye this morning on the st joe river. launched the boat at the ramp right next to eberheart Petro golf course in Mishawaka. Headed upstream and fished right under the dam. Minnows and plastic worms both took fish but the live baits did better for us. We fished for 5 hours or so and ended up boating 14 fish and missed alot but only one keeper. All the other fish were in that 14 1/2 to 15 1/2 range. We would of had a all you can eat if the limit was 1” less but the rules are the rules right! Lol Was fun to get out and fish some new water and catch some fish. Now it’s time for some beers and corned beef!! Happy st Patty’s day boys!!
