Took the day off salmon fishing to head south. Captain Larry & I had a blast. It will be some good eating soon. Bass was released.

Went back on Monday. The wind was brutal. Fish had moved shallower. Found them in 18" of water fished 10" deep. Didn't have a fish till noon. At 3PM we left with 13 8"plus. The pond is about 70 miles south.

Hit the pond again yesterday. Ended up with 34 keepers. We had 22 crappies and 12 gills. Man o man these eat well.

Fried gills and specks along with Sunny buns, deli American cheese, lettuce, an o ring or two and some mac and cheese and an ice cold Dr Pepper. Meal good enough for the King and Queen of Clubs. YUM!!
