I have been toying with the idea that a fishing journal might be useful to people. This would log date, time and other fields could be baits, depths and so on and so forth. This would take me a considerable time to develop (entire winter) so I am not going to do it unless people would find it useful. I would likely make catches correlate with weather conditions that could be charted etc. It would be private and encrypted so your info is your info and nobody elses.

if interested let me know, and what information you would like to be able to enter.

If you are not interested, also please let me know, and why your not interested.

The more info I have, the more I have the ability to decide on whether to expend my time doing this as it would be a vast undertaking but very cool feature (in my opinion).

Great thing. I've attempted it with paper but ended when I couldn't find a pen anymore lol. Date, time, depth of water, setups. Species, size, current weather conditions. Just some things I had on mine.

I like the idea Jeff. I've tried to keep a good log this year on a big calendar. But it seems if I skip a day I can't remember all the weather details. I know I would get good use out of it.

Ha I can top that Tmik - I keep an iPad in the boat and still can't get myself to bust it out and document everything at the beginning and by the end of the day I am too tired and just want to go home.

Yes Jeff I think that would be a good feature. Want would be nice is if it could automatically get weather/waves/winds if we enter the GPS coordinates. I am sure that would be a huge undertaking but it would be a really cool feature. Other than that all the stuff Tim said.

Always wanted an app that did this. Sounds like a lot of work Jeff. Just don't put a delete button anywhere near it!!!!!
