I'm heading out of east Chicago in the morning heading to the state line. if anyone goes I will be on 68 let's find some fish. Hopefully these blows the last couple of days have not screwed everything up.

Also - I will not be out tomorrow.

I will be heading out in the morning weather permitting. I'll be out of Portage, going to start in close and move if it doesn't produce. I'll be on 68.

I wanted to but better judgement said not to. After checking on the lake and storms it would have been a disaster by 8.

Lol I was trying to talk my way into going but yes you greatly helped the decision

I decided to stay in and take a look at the Portage beach to see what the lake looked like. It was a good idea to keep the boat on the trailer today. I am going to try to get out of Portage tomorrow and figure on staying in fairly close since we have to be somewhere by noon and with the look of the lake today I don't know it will be laid down enough for a long run in the little boat.

not that you can really tell from pics but this was the lake at portage today. From forcasts it sounded like the West side of the lake was much worse.

Its a good thing we all have friends that help keep us safe
