I'm planning on going out of Waukegan tomorrow morning or afternoon looked on the topo map and it looks like 100 fow is couple miles off shore does anyone here know?? Also anyone know what depth the temp break is at?? Read on chitown somewhere between 40-50? Thanks for any info

Really great job. That first pic almost looks like a monster coho. Hard to tell in the pics though.

Wauk has a shelf about 60 fow about 3 to 4 miles out. Gets deep quick. Reports say the thermo there is out deeper.

TMIK...the more I see it the more I agree. I guess I deferred to a king because I've never caught a coho quite that big. Still need to work on my fish ID apparently.

Those are some nice fish - no matter what species they are. What speed were you trolling if you don't mind sharing? Also for the guy still looking for a King - is there a good way to identify the difference between a big ho and king?

Kings have spots on their whole tail and black gums set in black mouth.

Coho have spots only on their top half of their tail and white gums set in a black mouth.

Easiest ways right there.
