Had a rook with me yesterday so we didnt arrive to portage until noon........
Decided I wanted to give offshore a try. We worked 65-95 FOW and went 5 for 9. 2 Kings (both wild - 5 & 9lb, small coho, small steelhead, big laker. The laker was a 38.5" bruiser that was a new boat record 21lb 2oz. A real nice day overall. Did not see much on sonar at all out there, but caught a few.

Best rod overall was a 7 color. Pretty much ran an all spoon program. Flounder Pounder and Lemon Ice took the bulk of the hits. Ran everything in the top half of the water column.

yea - the thick clouds helped plenty Im sure. Oh and my radio is crapped out. Tried to call a few people and it sound like someone responded but my radio just cuts out - so if I "ignored" anyone I blame it on my radio lol. Off to go find a new one.

If I was out there you could have blamed it on me. Lol...

Nice job Dirtyx - guess I should have tried Portage. I didnt do bad yesterday but no where as good as that.
