Hunter Boys Outdoors

Hey Everybody!! Been quite some time since we've posted on here. Wanted to let everyone know we're still here and we're doing well! We suffered a few personal setbacks after we introduced our line of Balsa lures last year, guess you never really know what life has in store for you. We've been busy with building and refining our Balsa lures along with doing repaints for customers. Definitely want to give a big Thanks to everyone that has supported us, we appreciate it more than you will ever know! We were just getting back to a stage of normalcy and then this pandemic hit us all!! We wish the best for everyone out there, hopefully we can come out stronger on the other side. That was a little long winded, sorry about that. Now to the business at hand. I've been so inspired by the fantastic lure artists on Facebook that I've been working on upgrading my crawfish patterns. The amount of lures I paint keeps me from being able to achieve the type of detail I see on some of they're patterns, just due to the amount of time it would take. I've added about as much detail as I can and still be able to do it in a timely fashion. I have listed several of the new patterns on E-Bay, they started last night and will run for a week. There will be another batch starting next week as well. If you get a chance, take a look at them, maybe they can take your mind off of things if just for a little while. As always Thanks so much for looking and we appreciate your business!! HUNTER BOYS OUTDOORS

Very nice work. I'm only hoping to get there some day. My tendencies is to stick with the types/colors that I use. With the new world I might have to find new patterns:silly: too. But none the less very nice looking baits.

Thanks Wildkat Tim,
we do a lot of bass baits and have been working hard on our own balsa wood baits.
But, we know you guys are looking for salmon painted baits so don't forget we re-paint - Brads, Old Storm Thin-fins, Rapalas, Lucky Craft, Etc.
don't forget about OUR OWN Salmon Magnets, bottom picture. Now one of the top Indiana charter boat baits.

Yea I like your work. I'm doing some of my own baits. Not near the work you but I'm still trying.

Salmon magnets have been steady for me all season. Also, If you look close at the lure I pictured in my recent post about fishing on the snowy day last week - the one coated in ice, it's a Hunter Boys painted RT. Started the season as brand new, wore out both hooks and have replaced them.

The paint job on the Hunter Boys lures is much tougher than the originals from Storm or Brads, but if you look close, there's been enough coho bites on it the paint is chipping down to the original green underneath.
