I used a similar paint scheme last year and it worked pretty well. Coho and steelhead were caught using them at various times. I had Hunter Boys tweek the scheme a bit for this batch. I had them add some more gold along the sides for added flash and a heavier black spine. They have a pearl belly with a blood red chin. They do look good, can't wait to wet 'em down. Here is a pic:

That is what I said to him also about his hip. Maybe in your case he was saving the best for last. Or maybe mine was an easier job. Still for me that was the fastest turnaround.

LOL Don,

I'm just happy to have a guy like Jay available. His work is always top notch and he gives you what you asked for. Turn around is always reasonable, and he has been a really good sponsor for us. I gave him a due date by April 1st, so thought I would pull your leg alittle.

Jay will be doing a dozen Rapalas for prizes for the spring contest in a mix of J-9's,11's and F-11's in 2 different color schemes. They will be coho killers.
