Is there anyone in the area who can clean and grease trolling reels?  I've tried several of my usual spots (Fishing Connection, Tackle Haven) with no luck.

Thank you.

If you don't need them repaired, it's not a difficult job, at all. None of the various brands of reels I've worked on fall apart when removing the end caps. But just removing the end caps will expose almost all of what needs attention.  Clean things up a bit with Q-Tips dunked in acetone. Then remember only two things - grease on gears and bushings, oil on bearings. Not necessary, but I put a bit of blue loctite (thread locker) on the screws that hold the end caps in place.
