Put in some mileage the past two days and finally found a pod of fish. I had a ton of close encounters with fish charging out of the undercuts and log jams after my plugs and spinners. I had one steelhead cone halfway out of the water after my spinner yesterday as I was picking it up over a log. Had another tear the hook off my little plug. Today I went deep into the playbook and brought out a Scooby Doo pole that I had for my nieces and nephews. Not the best casting tool, but strung up with some power pro it makes a great stick for pulling fish out of the logs. Yesterday I had to pass a 9.5 footer under a submerged branch. Way easier with a 2.5 footer lol.
