First, the important part: does anybody know of a charter with an opening to go out of New Buffalo, St. Joe or another port close by in on Sunday, May 20?

Now for the rest of the story ...

I’ve arranged for a memorial fishing trip to remember my friend Tony, who died unexpectedly the night we got home from a fishing trip out of St. Joe a year ago. I wrote about Tony’s final trip here: www.thesouthend.org/index.php/forum/salm...kers/2246-final-trip

So, my friend Gene and I planned to take another friend, my son and Austin, the foster son in the story, who Tony’s widow recently adopted. When I talked to Tony’s widow about my plans tonight, she mentioned that her brother, another mutual friend and possibly Tony’s uncle would also like to take part in the memorial fishing trip. I told her we didn’t have the space on Geno’s boat for an extra 2-3 guys and the only way we could get everybody involved would be to hire a charter. She replied, “Well, then let’s hire a charter.” Of course, she’s not aware that at this time of year finding anyone with an opening on short notice can be pretty tough. So, I turn to you all for advice. Do you have any names to pass along?

Thank you for any help you can give.
