Pretty sure the a-hole that hit you doesn't have insurance. Lots of great people out there but it seems these days there are just as many that need a good ass kicking! I feel for you and hope you get a chance to confront these fine specimens.

You are probably correct about no insurance. Even if that was the case two grown men probably could have worked something out too.

Yeah but that would have cost them money they don't likely have.

Sure is odd ball places to have damages. Looks as if the boat got side swiped with something hanging out of or off of the other boat. That kind of thing happens frequently it seems up there. My Eagle trailer got ran up on by someone at Portage last year. The right fender was partially caved in and had rubber tire burned into the paint. No note was left either. I know who ever that was knew he hit my trailer. They had to be parked next to me. It makes you want to get even somehow hopefully you will. You have a little to go on.

I think the bow drove up on me. It's the only thing I can think happend. I don't think a rod holder would have groved the fiberglass that bad. But I guess you never know. It is strange there is no damage on the side or anywhere else. The pictures really dont show how deep the grove is.

Wow, that sucks man sorry to hear about that. Hopefully it all gets solved quickly and they can find pictures. I personally hate that ramp and try and avoid it at all cost. Maybe launch out of it 2-3 times a year... Hopefully Pastrick will open up soon.

It looked like the windshield damage was horizontal to me when I seen your pic . I will look at again. I guess you are your call sign now! Good luck on the search.

lol Don I'm angry. I was but today I am more upset that it happend and that I now have to deal with nonsense that I should not have too. So far insurance is coming through ok. I can take her were ever I want. The next step is let's see what happens when they get the price for a new windshield and they see the repair bill for that metal flake gel coat.

That you Tim, I and may take you up on the offer. I plan on taking the boat in today or tomorrow to get the process rolling. They said I could take it home and use it until the parts come in and everything is approved. But I want someone to look at it first bc I don't want to cause stress cracks in the gel coat from using it before it's repaired. I would imagine if that happens the additional repairs would fall in my lap. It sounds like if I can't use it I will be down a boat of 45 to 60 days.
