I was wondering if you could a baby Spin Doctor on a flat line or lead core flat line?

a lead core line will work fine. while ive never tried, I assume a flat line it would never get down.

Have to have some weight to get it down, other than that it'll work fine.

I use small Spin Doctors and the similar Church Revelators on flat lines and leadcores all the time. Usually switch to them later in the spring (from metal dodgers) as the water warms and I want to speed up. They work just fine at 3 mph or more.

On flat lines, I use a 3/4 or 1 ounce trolling sinker to keep them under the surface. On both leadcore and weighted lines I move the attachment to the front hole which lessens the amount of "drag" they create. That also decreases the amount of spin which isn't necessarily a good thing but it's a trade off.
