Managed a nice healthy brown today which was released to fight another day. He hit a flat line with a old storm flat wart in 10ft. of water.

EZ which Lund do you have ? I am kicking around the notion of getting another longer boat. I have not ridden in a Lund before. Do you like its handling, ride and features?

Don, I have a 2001 1800 Adventure Fisherman. It is a duel console with the walk thru windshield. Rated for 6 persons and 175 hp. Mine has a 115 EFI Mercury, runs great but a little under horse powered as far as I'm concerned. I bought it used (I'm the 2nd owner) from a guy in Bowling Green, IN. Boat came from Denny's Marine in Terre Haute, In. Overall I'm very happy with the boat. It came with some boat rash, the 1st. owner was 73 and didn't know much about boats. HE added a 24 v trolling motor & wired it up to a 12 v sys. I'm very cautious about getting out on the big lake, got caught in 3 footers once with no problem. Some time when you come up maybe we work out test rides for you. Going on my 4th season still happy, just seem to keep adding stuff to the boat. Rudey

Hey Don... I had the same Lund years ago, but mine was a 1999 with a 150 hp Mercury and a 9.9 kicker. Great boat easy to trailer and put on the trailer at the ramp. I felt it was big enough for the lake but got three footitis.

Is it like a pro v or a tyee in its layout? That is one I have not heard of. I have been in 3 and 4 footers in my Alumacraft before during a test ride with the service manager from Cabela's. It was not fun at all.

I don't think they make the fisherman anymore. It is more like the tyee than the pro v.
