Fished out of portage this morning. Lines set around 4:45 central. Set up in 65 after heading north west out of the ditch. Trolled north until I hit the Illinois state line then back south and north again before heading east towards MC. Bite was pretty good until around 7am and it all but shut off. Ended the day 3/10 with 2 fish breaking off. Riggers were the hottest but had a few takes on divers down 40-50 foot. Spoons did most of the work while a few went off on meat and spin doctors. Wonderbread and bloody nose mag spoons were the best for me. Lost a very nice fish that hit a coho doger on a 10 color, one that broke off. Nice and calm early with waves building all day. Tight lines! -
