Don, I have some 4" reverse tied ones too. I'll see if I can get a pic up later. You can't really tie that pattern with the flashabou as easy as the other stuff. I like the flash for perch flies and dressed trebles but not so much on the salmon flies.

I also got into the fly tying a long time ago. It has since grown into spoon re painting also. That started as some of the spoons we bought lost there paint after 1 or 2 fish. Now during the dog days of winter I paint & tie so it gives me lots to think about. Some work great, the 2 on the right of the picture have caught almost everything in the lake depending on where I run it.

Those look nice! I always wonder on spoon patterns and why some have the ladder back or slant strip and what that looks like in the fish's eyes.
