The Skamania start showing up at the river/creeks mouths around Fathers Day. They start going up the creeks in July and spawn in mid February.

The winter run steelhead should be in coming in for a while now.  Nov / Dec is always a great time to fish the creeks.

As far as the river walk goes, while I would not expect it to be hot and heavy by any means, I would think you could pretty much catch any species this time of year.

I agree, the colder months of the year are probably the best overall for fishing in that area, I know in MC, lakers and whitefish were being caught off and on, I imagine those same species are present near the Riverwalk throughout the winter as well, I know there were a lot of lakers around the mouth of the ditch last winter being caught on blade baits. Depending on when the coho come in, that whole area can be amazing. Timeline for that could feasibly be anywhere from December to late March.
