I cannot do Portage and considering St. joe. Is there a boat launch / public access at Eagle Point?

there is a launch on the Benton Harbor side of the river right by TackleHaven but check withTmik, hes familar with that area and perhaps there is another launch that I am not aware of

There are 2 launches, one is the dnr benton harbor launch right across the st from tackle haven. The other is the city of st joesph launch right across the river from the benton harbor launch. Both great launches, the st joesph city launch is monitored by security snd the dnr launch is monitored usually by a couple dnr guys.

I'm going to enlist my sons and take a run at the Portage/Marina Shores Tournament. They say luck favors the bold. I hope it may also favor the new guy who has no idea what he's doing.

I am going up to St. Joe with Tmik35 tomorrow to scope it out. I launch a boat so have to get all that figured out. If there are any questions let me know.
