good luck to you, I was sitting here thinking the same thing. I did here that the fish are moving a little to the east towards the islands. Hope you get on them.

It was a good trip, not great but not horrible. The weather has made Erie tough just like our pond this year. A lot of wind and waves which stir up the water. Just like our Perch, the Walleye don't bite well with stained water. We got caught in a storm and had to ride it out, got chased off by another storm and had a couple of decent days. We caught a lot of fish including countless Silver Bass and Drum. We only ended up catching 18 Walleye with 18" - 22" being typical. On my way home I had a flat on the Suburban and my wife had a hysterectomy scheduled for Friday and it got moved up to Thursday am. Pretty much just now catching my breathe. Like I said it was good, but not great.

A lot of rough water fishing! There was an area of "clean" water about 17 miles from our camp and rumor has it fishing there was on fire. Unfortunately we didn't have the forecast to get there. (North of West Sister Island)
