The Lowrance Outboard Pilot FINALLY arrived yesterday and I got her installed last night. It was pretty easy overall but somewhat tedious as a boat like mine does not offer alot of space to work with for the hydraulics or the wiring. Here are a few pics, the first pic shows the pump on the left and control unit on the right. These are right under the helm - wish I could have hid them better but had no space. Plus the pump has to be physically below the helm/steering wheel pump. It seems to work great as far as I can test in the garage haha.

Tomorrow it seems. I have some salmon fishing friends coming down from southern WI and they want to try to get on some perch since they are all but gone up there. Its early, but hoping we can find em. If perch is a crapshoot we will probably do some trolling.

worked like a champ. Got to test it today trolling around gary for an hour or so. Like a dream - no tending to the wheel!
